Line and Laura's Bun recipes

  Recipe for buns served Friday morning, at the micro climate workshop.   For this kind of buns you can mix all kinds of flavour (grains), as long as the one half is wheat. You can also add seeds if you like.

  Ingredients

1 litre of flavour
½ a litre of water
12 grams of yeast
salt
olive oil
(seeds)   Mix all together and put in the refrigerator until next morning.

Heat the oven till 250°C. Use a spoon to put the dough on to the plate. Bake for 15 minutes.  


Sportsbuns

2 tablespoons of oil
4 ½ decilitres of milk
1 decilitres of yoghurt natural
2 teaspoons of salt
50 gram of yeast (it is not dried yeast)
1 big grated carrot
2 decilitres of oatmeal
300 grams of whole grain wheat flour
400 grams of wheat flour

Mix yeast and salt, pour in oil and heated (not boiling!!) milk. Mix everything else in and knead it to a solid and dough. Form about 16 buns and let them rise for one hour. They have to be in the oven for about 25 minutes at 200 °C
