Standards for preventive conservation have often been the opinion of one person, or skewed by one dominant personality in a standards group. I don't want to perpetuate this tradition. I offer this open wiki for anyone to contribute towards refining a standard for the museum environment which reconciles the durability of the collection, the comfort of the visitor and the cost of running and maintaining the equipment.
